How to Convert Excel to PDF
Upload Your Excel File
Click the upload area above or drag and drop your Excel spreadsheet. We support both .xlsx (Excel 2007 and newer) and .xls (older Excel versions) formats. Your file is processed entirely in your browser.
Click Convert to PDF
Once your Excel file is selected, click the "Convert to PDF" button. The conversion process uses client-side JavaScript to transform your spreadsheet into a PDF document. No data is uploaded to our servers - everything happens locally on your device.
Download Your PDF
Your PDF will automatically download once the conversion is complete. The file will have the same name as your original Excel file with a .pdf extension. You can immediately use it for reports, submissions, or sharing.
Tips for Best Results
- File Size: Keep Excel files under 10MB for faster conversion. Large spreadsheets with many sheets or complex formulas may take longer to process.
- Multiple Sheets: If your workbook has multiple sheets, all visible sheets will be included in the PDF. Hidden sheets will not be converted.
- Column Width: Wide spreadsheets may appear compressed in PDF format. Consider adjusting column widths in Excel before converting for optimal readability.
- Charts and Images: Embedded charts and images in your Excel file will be included in the PDF conversion, though formatting may vary slightly.
- Page Breaks: For better control over how your spreadsheet appears in PDF, set page breaks in Excel before conversion.
- Privacy: All conversion happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your Excel data never leaves your computer, ensuring complete privacy and security.
